A quick update...

Just to let you of those who do follow me know that my 3rd bash at the FMP module paid off and I am now a graduate, huzzah!

This week I has been mostly, painting my nails pretty colours!

And getting obsessed with blogs about nails and make up, my femininity is finally coming out this spring ( I have no idea if I spelled that right) I'm pretty obsessed with lipsticks too. I'm discovering there can never be too many shades of red!

On that note emilys nail files is doing a great nail give away for all your girlies out there.

Tullie House logo

This is a logo for a local museum I designed, sadly they took an interest in said logo but already have a designer...it's nice to know that its an impressive logo though I'm sure.

The Border Reivers exhibition seems to be a unique thing to Tullie House so I used this as my underlying theme, some witty use of typography and hey presto, the logo is born! Please do let me know what you think.

this wonderful typographic scarf from the folks at little factory, they do great placemats created from laser cut numbers too, just charming! 

Inspiration

A beautiful book cover I came across,  the formation of the heart from the title is just perfect, even down to the detail of the penguin inside the '0' of oo7 The others are beautiful but this is the one that got it spot on for me.

S.A.T.C fashion show

Soooo this is what I'm involved in tonight and an example of my multi ambition, coming to play. I'm both the designer of the posters for tonights event and a model in the fashion show itself. My hairs being done by Toni and Guy for free, so should be pretty good! Heck it gets my name out there again!

Whats in a name?

Well basically I thought I better explain mine, I'm what you could call very multi ambitious. In a previous life I was a lane and party host at a bowling alley.  Now I'm currently a children's carer who works weekends at a children's club with children of all different disabilities, which is soon to be more after uni has officially finished on a one to one basis. I'm a passionate graphic designer and have experience in working for clients and with them. But I'm also a part time model (profile can be found here, http://www.modelmayhem.com/NatDawnB  *plug plug*l, I model for local photographers, have experience in catwalk and have been modelling for a sculptor completely in the nuddy. *laughs* I guess that means I'm pretty confident! Oh and if theres ever a chance of me becoming a professional voice over, I'll do that too!

All joking aside if any of these 'trades' become full-time, I will become devoted to which ever one it may be.
